CPM'S INTERVENTION COURSE

CPM is developing an intervention course for students who are taking Core Connections, Course 3, but need additional support in mathematics with a concurrent math class. The course is unique in that it focuses on problem solving, building relationships, building student confidence, while also focusing on some key 8th grade standards like ratio and proportion, solving equations, and numeracy. For more information, you can listen to a recent podcast about the development of the course or write to intervention@cpm.org.

CPM will be piloting the intervention course during the 2018-19 school year, and the course will be available to the general public Summer 2019.

CPM Announces New Computer Science Curriculum!

This course explicitly covers AP® Computer Science A topics. As a curriculum aligned to AP® guidelines, this course assumes students have completed mathematics through Algebra 2/Integrated III. CPM is looking for experienced Java Teachers with or without CPM math teaching experience to pilot this new curriculum.  More information about the course and an application to use the curriculum is available at CPM Announces New Computer Science Curriculum!
